Even I have given up on the Indian CIRCKET TEAM
Even being an optimist that i am, i have given up on INDIA ever beating Australia at at least in the near future...
It really takes some doing to get beaten from the strong position that India were at Nagpur. There are some matches were you are in a situation from where you JUST cant lose unless of course you really try hard for it...
But this rule never seems to work when India plays. I cant remember the last time that India thrashed any team to embarrassment.. We take a match to the last ball is possible or lose trying...
And now this Men In Blue have switched over to the new aggressive mode that involves a lot of trash talking about the opposing team... The Aussies are pretty good at it.. Fine but what in the hell was the need for us (I am ashamed to call this team ours.. but fate... ) to go yapping about how good we are..
All we have achieved is to destroy what little respect we had left (Considering the recent one day form i would say the respect level would have gone to negative if it was possible)
But all said and done, i will still watch cricket, i will still watch Sreesanth trying to intimidate a man twice his size [ just imagine what his state will be if Hayden and Symonds decide to take him on off the field. I heard that Symonds has killed a wild BOAR with bare hands!!! (comments are welcome)], i will still hope that India beats the Aussies at Mumbai..
After all that is what i call myself The Optimist for.. :)
